Scott, have you found enough difference (quality, wear, etc) to justify
the difference between the Chineese and the Dresser
tires?
Bill,
I recently received (1/19/06) two nice Chin tires and tubes from
Aerocrafters for $16 and $7 each along with three plastic anti pinchers at $4.50
each (my cereal box cardboard is getting hinky). Strangely, they
thought I needed the order instantly so the freight
was $48.
I have never used Dresser tires since I didn't know they existed until
recently, but more important than wear is inflated shape. Will they
fit? I would say that the nose tire would not be a fit problem but my
Chin doesn't show much wear in that position.
BTW, Chin tires from Aerocrafters I bought a year ago arrived misshapen, as
though they had been at the bottom of a pile for a long time. These
good-looking newer ones have two colored stripes along the tread.
What does that mean?
