Here is one of those ideas. If you a looking for a cheap way to get "chart lights" over even over head ones for that matter. They take the notebook USB LED lights, and cut off the USB connector, add a dropping resistor. wire and an adel clamp and poof they have a flexible light. This is just too cool of an idea. Might even be worth finding the female USB plug and adding the dropping resister there. Then you could just put ports around the cockpit and "jack in your favorite light", including colors as well :)...
