Nah, I wasn't counting the 10 minutes of stop-and-go after the tollway
run.
BUT, In 6th gear, the Vette only needs 1600 RPM to maintain 75 MPH - Thus I
was running slightly over idle RPM. This is how I get 29 MPG if I can keep
off the single power lever at each light. Hmmmmm........ Maybe shifting
gears adds another power dimension - just like that good ol' constant speed
prop.
