Alan,

The wing center section is exactly 10' wide; should be able to trailer it
without much difficulty.  We brought ours back from Redmon in the back of
a Ryder rental truck (tilted at an angle, see the website).

I'm getting ready to install the main gear sometime in the next couple of
weeks or so; I'll let you know if they're wider than the fuselage.

The height of the vertical stab won't be the problem for you; the open
canopy is higher.  You won't be able to open the canopy all the way with
the fuselage sitting on the gear (unless your basement has a 9' ceiling).
I've got the fuselage sitting on the roterisserie (a steel framework
allowing you to "roll" the fuselage about the longitudinal axis, sold thru
Lancair unless you can find a used one) in my garage/hangar and the open
canopy won't fit under the garage door opener.

The horizontal stab is not as as wide as the wing center section.
