Why would you lean a TSIO-550 engine at a field with 5 or 10K density
altitude?
The turbo at redline MP and RPM makes more HP at 5000 feet and 10,000 feet
than it does at sea level.
Not a good time to lean it.
There is an NTSB report on this subject. A crash at Pagosa Springs from some
years ago. P210 leaned on takeoff. Not a pretty picture.
