Decided to install the two recommended pressure gauges and now have a problem. The system will now not drop the gear without pulling the the breaker and the bypass. The gauges are even more confusing with the high pressure side showing 1400 psi and at the same time the low pressure shows 700 psi with the gear in the retracted position. After watching the gauges move during retraction it shows that the system has been fighting itself and there were indications I did not see prior to installing the gauges. Is the gauge installation problem a coincidence? I am confused and my guesses are: 1. The dump valve has started leaking?? 2. The often mentioned "reversed spool valve problem" but the system did appear to function normally prior to the installing the gauges. I have not accessed the spool valve as of yet. 3. God paying me back (again!!!!) for transgressions of the past. This seems to be happening alot since becoming a builder. Suggestions would be appreciated. Mark Quinn Daytona Beach
