The photo of my first start is just that. I never ran the motor over 1500 RPM. For the full-power run ups blocks were clamped to the nose strut to keep it from compressing, plane tied down by the tail, all wheels chocked and the nose wheel sat on a 2x6 to further give the prop more ground clearance. Oh, and a lucky rabbit foot was on board. A Priest and holy water never showed up though.
