TCM reports that it has now performed ultrasonic testing of 1,000 engines under CSB 99-3, not quite one-third of the affected fleet, and that about 13% have been flagged for shipment to Mobile for a crankshaft transplant. The company reports that it now has 26 inspectors on the job, with 14 more slated to come on stream by early June.
