Has anyone tried or considered a central joystick with quadrant
engine controls on the left (or both sides).

Jerry Slocum is building a center stick control into his LNC2. He
described it in the Lancair Network News issue No.17, Oct/Nov 1995,
complete with a photo. Look it up.
