I hung my canopy and it spread out on the forward end. I had to heat it, pull it together and let it
set with straps. I think the only way to do a long term storage on a canopy is to leave it in the
cradle it was made in. You could hang/set it in any position that way.

I am about to remove my canopy after final fitting, for long term storage of
up to a year or more. >
