We plugged all holes in the engine baffles using silicone and cut a small hole in the lower cowling. The hole is about 3 inches wide and 5 inches long. Don also installed a small AL lip on the fore end of the hole, angled downward about 45-degress. We pop-rivetted this AL lip and it extends about 1-inch outside. The location of the hole is right underneath the exhaust stack, about 15 inches from the rear of the lower cowling. I will cover this hole with one of those 'shark-gill' covers to make it look better.
