My experience has been that without counsel you will open mouth and insert foot. I have never been to a meeting with a large corporation where a potental lawsuit could result and they did not have legal counsel with them to advise. Never be put in a position where the other side has more brains and gun power than you do unless you can't afford it. If you have a meeting without legal counsel for your side you are making a mistake and I would not be interested in helping or providing money necessary to take on a company like this. Ask anyone who has been involved in lawsuits or settlements and you will find that an attorney is necessary. Yes it takes money but that is what this is all about. I don't know if it pays to go after Continental but only a good attorney present at any meetings can tell whether you have a case or if the other side is going to do anything to help you.
