Lawyers should be brought into negotiations to write the contracts only after an agreement in principal has been reached. The best way to kill a potential deal is to involve lawyers in the beginning. I also agree with Bob Grossman's comment about not suing. Don't forget that Continental is probably a very small part of Teledyne, and that decisions in a large company may or may not be rational. On the other hand, closing down might be rational: small market, low growth, dead-end technology, etc. If we can't solve the problem without legal action, our only choice is to find another supplier. And that shows how precarious our situation is. John Herminghaus I-VVVV >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
