Marv,
Do you or your LNN readers have a source/reference for study on electrical bonding of components on the Lancair IV planes? We start wing closeout for the first plane in May and have neglected this area in our research.

Specifically, do we need to bond the metal components in the wing together with wire/copper braid? Same question for the static wicks? If so, can this wire be installed after wing closeout, or do we need to "build it in" during closeout? Also, what is the best material to use and where is it available in the quantity needed--assuming we'll need to bond components in the fuselage even if the wings are OK??

Thanks,
Bob Pastusek

[Hi Bob,  I did a bit of research on bonding while working on Bill Maddox's
SAS website... take a look over there in the static wick pages and in the
FAQs... there's quite a bit of info.  Go to http://www.speedbrakes.com.
