Skip Van Ness, building on Ross's work, further simplified the system using two manifolds such as Marv suggests. The saving of AN fitting and hose exceeded the weight of the manifolds. Skip has access to test bench and tested his far above LC20s working pressure. Ross has pictures. > manufacture my own manifolds > out of a piece of 1x1x3" 6061T6 with five 1/8NPT ports (one in the end and > 4 cross-drilled and tapped)? I have some thoughts too. mount the pressure switches forward on the lines where you can get at them not on the power pack. This also saves wiring. Mount dump valve at aft end of console. In nose gear tunnel run one line in from each side. [Skip sent photos of his manifolds, I'll upload them to the LML homepage in a few days. As for wiring... my batteries will also be mounted to the back of the firewall, but above the pilot footwell. Master and starter contactors will be right above the front of the nosegear tunnel, and hyd power pack above pax footwell... my wiring will be very compaact indeed. As for access to the pressure switches, I'm mounting them to the front of the power pack already, and will have access hatches on both sides of the front deck to get at the batts and hydraulics. I do like your idea about the dump valve at the back of the console, however, as my tunnel vision has kept me from thinking about locating it anywhere other than where the manual recommends. Excellent idea, thanks for sharing it. Gee, I love this list! ] >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
