I had the FAA call me on Friday and advise me that the engine failure I had where the oil pump drive failed was not the only problen I had with the engine and they advised me that the airplane would have fallen out of the sky soon due to the crankshaft in that it was failing. So my engine may have been the straw that broke the camels back in that this was inspected by the Faa at my request and even though Connental said it was not necessary to get the FAA envolved I am glad I did get the FAA envolved for the sake of all pilots. I think it is time that more controls are put on mfg. I am very upset that again my airplane will be grounded and I believe hat it is soon time for a class action suit.
