The glass used in this part is unlike that used anywhere else in your plane. When you cut, sand by hand or with a dremel drum sander, you will ITCH forever...or so it seems. I found the most effective way to get a good initial fit was to cut the dust cover in half right down the center and fit each half individually. When you've got it just right, bond the two halfs together. A real time saver.
