Hi all:
I've finished priming and sanding my nose wheel tunnel and now I'd like to
paint it with Poly Fiber Flight Gloss. I can't figure out how I'm supposed
to go about doing that as the tunnel is quite narrow and I obviously can't
fit a spray gun down in there. While I was able to use a brush for the
Smooth Prime, that method will not produce a very attractive finish with
the top coat. So............... how do I spray on a nice smooth finish in
those tight quarters? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Doug
[You probably could get down in there with a modified airbrush...
most of them have that pen-shaped handle off the back, and that could
be removed, allowing you access to those tight quarters and still have
an inch or so between the tip of the brush and the surface. A real low
flow rate would probably do the trick. Just a quick thought... <M> ]
