This was not the case at first. We had to grind down the white plastic thick washer in the base of the joystick. It was too thick and was binding as it swivelled. Getting your control surfaces installed with proper mass balancing will help somewhat if they are properly balanced, but if not balanced well, they will make it worse, of course. Make sure all control tubes have clearance as they move. Listen for scraping sounds as the tubes slide and twist. I suspect that most of your problem is from the washer which is too thick. I must say, it is a real joy to get the stick to the point where a few ounces of pressure with your thumb and index finger will magically transform 350 horses into a sweeping arc in the sky!
