You're right about the high pressure switch. I wired it out of the circuit with a manual substitute which controlled gear retraction just fine. That pressure switch is about 2 years old with only 10 flight hours on it. No idea how many gear swings on the ground were done. Perhaps the connections have failed or the switch has internally failed.
