Thanks. Mark. Now that I've looked at it, I remember seeing it before - probably a year 0r more ago. That may be where I got the idea of putting a metal "cap" over the bulkhead connector.
And yes, everyone, I'm aware of the potential dowside of having an extra connection in every wire that goes through the firewall - at this point, the advantages seem to outweigh the risks.
