Rusty, three blocks from my house in Nederland, Texas (next south of
Beaumont, off I10 30 miles from Tex-Louisianna border) there is an old
British air boat that has been sitting for years. It has two small rotary
engines to run the air boat prop(s?). I tried to check the data plates a
few years ago - don't see any record of the info in my files. I'll go look
if you want. HP could be 35 to 50.

Subject: [FlyRotary] 50 HP rotary engine?
Greetings,
I've pretty much talked myself out of using the heavy 4-cyl engine that I
got with my Airbike project, and am officially in the market for an
engine.
I need something around 50 HP, and around 100 lb, and I'd love to find
some
sort of rotary engine that fits my requirements. Does anyone know of such
an engine that's currently available?
Thanks,
Rusty (remember, friends don't let friends fly 2-strokes)
