I
forgot to add this warning. Trying to drill directly through the cast steel is
hopeless. My best drill bits with Boelube couldn't penetrate. You need to use a
die grinder to break through the surface which has been extremely hardened by
repeated heat/cool cycles. It doesn't take much, then you will be able to drill
much easier. I decided to grind out a level area to allow me to drill square,
while clamped in a drill vice.
Ps. In
the pic EGT1 it looks like allot of material was removed, but this is
misleading. It didn't take much out to get it level and
square.
