I wish we could find out which NTSB, FAA or maybe Lakeland emergency/rescue person in-charge closed down the arrivals for such a long time. Completely unjustified in my view. Smells of a new person on the scene that was going to show everyone "I'm in charge".

And then excert pressure to get that person out of there.

They can take all the time they want to investigate a crash out in the middle of the swamps, but not at a busy fly-in like Sun-and-Fun. Guys are alive, take them to the hospital as needed, haul the plane out of the way, and let others get on with it.
