Dave,
I was looking at the sketch of your cooling system and there are
a couple of areas which may give your grief. (Perhaps the sketch isn't
a true representation of your installation which would make these
comments mute).
There are 2 areas where air can trap that should be dealt with.
I've edited your GIF and draw boxes around the two areas. Above the red
line, air will be trapped. The radiator section would seem to be the
biggest issue. Is there a way you could route the top rad connection so that it
maintains an up-hill path the WP? (shown in blue) If not, installing
bleed valves for filling the system, or, a bleed line back to the header
tank would help things out.
