And for those who don't want to switch to Linux, you can still get Netscape free for the download time. It's basically Mozilla for Windows. It has the intelligent spam handler & the browser has really neat features that Gates & co aren't interested in providing. Even running Windows, I've gone for a year or more at a time without any anti-virus software & have had no ill effects. I'll start to get a little paranoid & load current virus software, only to find that I'm still clean. (Yes, I still get all the virus attachments everybody else gets, but Netscape doesn't use the macro files that infect most people's computers through Outlook. To get a virus using Netscape, you would have to actually open & run an .exe attachment to an email. Charlie I'm forced by my employer to use IE & Outlook at work but when I come home I use Netscape.
