That is very nice of you.  I too have a spare water pump (from the engine your fuel rails were on).  However, I am fairly sure that it is not the pump, as everything seems to be in excellent working order.  Tracy is right, there is something big that I a missing.  But it dosent seem to be the pump.

Hi Dave;

    I just remembered that I still have my waterpump, which I have no intention of using, so you can have it if you like. It's from an '86 NA and has an aluminium pump housing. The pump housing had a small break (from car accident) up at the thermostat fitting that was re-welded and looks perfectly good to me. I would not hesitate to use it if I was not using the EWP.

    Let me know if you want it.
