We have a spammer harvesting addresses from our list archive. Just an hour after posting my first message from my new (to this list) address, I started getting the same kind of spam that started shortly after my last move from email.com to cox.net. In the previous 10 months that I've had this address, I had never received a single piece of SPAM. Also, I wonder if someone with Jim Sower's address has an infected computer. I recieved a message, through the list, with no text - just an attached file: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\nsmailPU.gif I'm not on a computer I can put at risk, right now , so I haven't attempted to download and scan to see if it's legit. Sorry to take up list bandwidth this way, but it _could_ become important. Dale R. COZY MkIV-R #1254 _______________________________________________ No banners. No pop-ups. No kidding.
