I started with the ground adjustable, but plan to add the in-flight adjustable after getting some time in the plane, and making sure that I don't have any issues with the prop.  I think that the blade crack problem they had in the past were all with Lycomings, and due to the strong pulses.  I shouldn't have these issues with the rotary.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the comments. As I mentioned, I'm not afraid to run an IVO, as I agree that the cracking will have no effect on us.  The biggest hang-up I had with the IVO was this mysterious high speed problem that many people have.  Tracy said his climbed like crazy, but seemed to have a bunch of drag at higher speeds.  Dave Atkins reshaped the hub area some, but I could never get a description of what he did.  Pushers seemed to be less affected, perhaps because the fuselage blocks more of the drag area of the hub???  I'll call IVO today, and see what they would recommend.

Cheers,
Rusty (2 or 3 blade, long or short, just don't know)
