Rusty, do you have the name of the company that wants 900 more
engines? I'm in the market for new RX-8 Renesis engine - if that is what
the company is buying now, maybe they'd split one off to me for their cost plus
a little.

The end customer was
some natural gas company, but they weren't the ones buying the engines from
Mazda. As I understand it, they contracted RX-7 specialties, who
bought bought the 120 minimum order from Mazda. From what I was
told, RX-7 specialties just didn't have the means to handle an order for 900
engines, so they were not going to be involved.
This was all 2 years
ago, so who knows what happened in the mean time. If you really want
to try to locate a new engine, call Adam at RX-7 Specialties ( http://www.rotaryengine.ca/ ), and
as if he knows of any.
