I know that Richard Sohn markets his oil adapter through Laura. I am new to airplane building but a long time RX7 owner and rotor head. My first aircraft project is a Onex - a single rotor motor with aluminum side housings would be cool, but I will probably stick with the recommended Sonex VW conversion and plan on a two rotor RV as my next project. Somebody in my local EAA chapter who is building a Cozy with an RX8 motor told me that Tracy is retired and RDs and ECs are no longer available? All rumor and my friend is honest he doesn't know much about rotaries (and has his re-drive and ignition already). I've been buying parts from RA for years (Super Seals, o-ring kits, etc. for auto use) and noticed they moved. The site still shows all this stuff for sale like it's still available. And I recently ordered a Sohn oil adapter for my car from them and it came right away. So what's the scoop? When I get to my rotary aviation project in a few years, am I going to have to roll my own like you early rotary guys were doing twenty years ago? -- James -- Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ Archive and UnSub: http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/flyrotary/List.html
