Charlie -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Fly-in & hushpower muffler Date: Sat, 18 Jan 2014 14:32:25 -0600 From: Dennis Havarlah To: Charlie England I've sent two messages thru the flyrotary list and found both got bounced. I copied the last one (see below) and I am sending this direct to you - feel free to foward to the rotary list. DWH Charlie I still am using the Hushpower II Resonator but the "guts" got loose and I removed the pieces before they could plug the outlet. My friends still say mine is very quiet and has a "good" sound. I don't know the weight of the resonator but without the guts it is very light! I do have the stock RX-8 exh. manifold and the 4 inch spin pipe to turn the flow from exhausting forward to exiting the spin pipe toward the firewall. The resonator is smaller than the Hushpower II Muffler so it fits in the cowl easily. Pick a good date for the Fly-in and we will do everything to help and also get there. It will be great to see a bunch of rotary guys and gals along with airplanes again!
