Rob,

"put together by Bruce Turrentine" may be problematic.  Not that Bruce isn't an excellent rotary builder, but he does have a quirk in his style, wherein he often closes off the filter pad and grinds off the rear-most mounting hole (right on the attached photo.  Without this pad, my block won't work. I am, however working on a block that will mount over the factory inlet which is in the same iron just above the oil pan (and is the one Bruce relies upon.)

The engine has 13B embosed on the sections but nothing is on the rear iron so I don't know what would fit there. I must assume it is the FC/FD pattern. How can I be sure what block I need?
