This reman is purportedly a Turrentine NA  with some mild streetpoting.  The rotor housings are NA and it has four port irons, but I can't figure out what is going on here.

What is this iron off of? The picture is of the oil filter mount area on the rear iron.

The two oil holes from the filter mount have been plugged by the previous owner with Allen plugs and the filter holder bolt hole (if I'm right-- seems to have been filled.  Another oddity is that there is only one bolt mount and not two. I have not yet removed one of the allens to see if the holes are threaded-- I should hope that has been done as nothing else would possibly be adequate.  There seems to be an open route to the front iron when I blow compressed air through the oil return line or the oil pressure port.

It was my understanding that oil had to flow through the area...  Out of the rear iron through the filter, back into the rear iron... then through the irons/rotor housings along the top to the turbo supply fitting next to the CAS and splitting off down into the front iron.  I understand too that much of the oil returns to the pan through the oil pressure regulator.

What have I got here?  I would ask, but the original owner is long gone

Regards
Bill
