That is the current setup, Kelly. I assumed I would pick up some heat. I never imagined a 40 degree delta from ambient. The intake air is being sucked through the bare metal of the gearbox, so even a small amount of insulation would go a long way, I think.

The generator is surrounded by a blower. I was questioning earlier
