That is the current setup, Kelly.  I assumed I would pick up some heat.  I never imagined a 40 degree delta from ambient. The intake air is being sucked through the bare metal of the gearbox, so even a small amount of insulation would go a long way, I think.

The generator is surrounded by a blower.  I was questioning earlier
whether this was doing anything at all.  I can confirm that my blower is
driving the MAP above ambient above 4500RPM.  The downside is that I'm
picking up a lot of heat from the gearbox and engine.  I'm getting intake
temps north of 130.  I'm considering some insulation options, but not
really sure what I can do.
