Low octane car gas has more energy than avgas, too, as long as it doesn't have alcohol in it. give you those numbers.  Typical fuel burn at cruise is between 6.5 and 8.5 GPH.   
Everyone uses their own power setting for cruise.

Best info we have on BSFC is around .45 - .47 lb/HP/hr.
