| I just got my parts back from the shop today... cost me $350!!! Wont be going back there... though they do need to make a living. Nice work on the starter, addapter plate, and fly wheel. Only problem is that they placed on of the bolt holes part way into the balance pit on the back side. So not only does that throw off the balance, but the bolt head now has symmetrical purchase.. So I will probably take it back for new holes, but will also need to get the fly wheel re-balanced... which is only done a long way away from here....
I wonder how much balancing costs...???

Just trying where to got to get it machined... 9.8 lbs is only about double the existing flex plate.. so not the end of the world.

Kelly,
Well buddy, I guess it is just you and me. Like they say, last one out, turn off the lights.
Have you heard any more about the flywheel conversion from Dave Leonard? Last I recall, he was ready to machine the starter. I keep hoping for a lighter solution from Tracy.
