Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: turbo oil return port
Hi Paul,
I think I know what happened here.
I think the port by the flywheel is the one used by the stock turbo oil
return. This is the one I used for the PSRU oil return. The one on the
water
pump end is the one I used for the turbo oil return. I'm not sure what its
used for stock. There's only one oil return from the turbo.
If someone cares to check me on this, the pictures Paul's refering to are
at

Thanks, John....I printed the pictures from your site and took them to my
project to compare. We must have different engines. I have the oil return
under the water pump similar to yours, but the hole closest to the flywheel
just goes straight thru into air. You can see the flywheel thru that hole.
Or, in other words, if you pumped oil into that hole, it would just pour all
over the ground. Also, my water pump looks different. My lower pump outlet
just goes straight away from the engine. Yours appears to go away from the
engine, then turn, or twist towards the firewall. My engine is a 1989 13b
turbo. Do you know the year/model of yours? Thanks again for your info and
reply. Paul Conner
