Usually takes overnight to notice, though. I have a similar system, but the facet pump is on the front of the wing spar under my seat. I have noticed over the years that if left on a slight inclin= e, fuel will migrate one way or the other.=A0 Usually takes overnight to no= tice, though.=A0 I have a similar system, but the facet pump is on the fron= t of the wing spar under my seat.

Here's another unrelated =A0issue- I have an RV-4, with the fuel b= eing taken out of and returned only to the right tank. I have an AN-6 line = feeding a facet pump located just aft of the batteries, and it transfers fu= el to my righ hand tank when I want to transfer the fuel. Both tanks are ven= ted separately.=A0Here's the problem: I started out with 12. 5 gallons = in the right tank, and 6.5 in the left. After running the engine on the gro= und for 1 hour, I ended up with 12.7 gallons in the right and 1.7 in the le= ft, without ever having run the transfer pump. The only thing I can think o= f having happened is that the plane was parked slightly- 1 degree or so-rig= ht wing down. The facet pump I believe has a one way valve which would allo= w fuel to flow=A0 downhill to the right tank. That's my theory, can any= one else offer a theory as to why the fuel is self transfering?
