Congratulants.

Like Bobby, I too am doing final fittings of fiberglass and cleaning up now that I am mostly past the "proof of concept" stages.  Thanks for the courage to install the turbo which added in my turbo install.

All the best,

Subject: [FlyRotary] A rotary turns 500

Had a great trip to Lake Tahoe with the boys this weekend.  One guy flew with me and the other 3 took Southwest.  Door to door travel time: RV=3.25hrs.  Southwest=4.5hrs    Direct cost:  RV= $110 pp.RT  Southwest=$310pp.RT.   Plus, in the RV we had complete flexibility with travel times and got to do some great sight seeing on the way (like half-dome etc).  Of course, none of that factors in the time and money already spent on the RV, which is outlandishly excessive, but I'm trying to justify here.

On the way home N4VY clicked over 500hrs TTAF.  Not really very much by many standards, but a small milestone.  I think of all the places I have been and all the formation flying I have done and it is amazing that I only have 500 hrs.  Fun stuff.
