Someone want to experiment with a constant speed hydraulic hub? Make
your own blades?
I think that http://www.whirlwindpropellers.com/ might use it to make
you a prop. Then all you need is a governor, hydraulics, a shaft to
transfer the oil.....

Subject: 3 blade hub

Lastly, there are probably very few who need this but I'd thought I'd
throw
it out here anyway. I have a Hartzell 3 blade prop hub and internals
minus
the blades. A taxi mishap destroyed the tips and the blades were cut
off
at
the hub. This assembly has only 150 hours TT. As you can imagine, this
thing is quite expensive if bought from Hartzell. I don't know what a
new
set of blades would cost, or maybe someone has a corrosion problem
with
their hub or internals and needs a new one. If anyone is interested
email
me, otherwise it'll probably go on Ebay or to the local prop shop.
