I believe the Renesis is a much = improved version of=20 the 13B pump, but can't remember the reasons. I assume it is partly = because of=20 the impeller and partly because of the tolerances between the impellor = and the=20 pump housing ( being a close tolerance).

Do you have any info on the impellor/ = tolerances=20 etc.

Keep in mind that I'm comparing it to a 20B water pump, not a 13B = water=20 pump. The 20B pump (housing & cartridge, no pulley) weighs = 11.8 lbs.=20 The Renesis pump & housing after being cut off the front = cover is=20 4.5 lbs. So, I potentially can save over 7 lbs. The big = question=20 is if the Renesis WP flow is enough water to cool the 20B. =

At present, I'm still gathering parts for the conversion, so I'm=20 currently running the stock 20B pump.

Any idea what the Meziere pump weighs? You'll need to add = the=20 weight of brackets too. The Renesis pump will fit onto the front = cover=20 same as the stock pump... well, with a few minor mods.
