Tracy, thanks for the mention of those Peterson filters. They look pretty good. The website I found didn’t give any physical dimensions that I could find though. Got a good web link?

The Peterson filter I have (http://www.petersonfluidsys.com/Photos/400filt.jpg) is about 1 ¾ -2” dia. and about 5” long. The end cap screws off to remove the cleanable/reuseable screen. I notice on their sight they rate it 60 micron; when I bought mine about 7 years ago it was rated 50.

 

Also, I’ll take back what I said recently about using a 10 micron filter. I went back to my old notes on the subject, and my conclusion was 30-60 microns was fine – apparently based on what the injectors would pass. I’ve running this one for 180 hours, and have had no issues with the injectors.  In the first 25 hours or so I had found some stuff in the filter that looked like dust or lint. Since then very little, if anything.
