Those were used on some of the RX-7 injectors and I ran across it on a Subaru injector also. In that case, the tab can be cut or ground off as it doesn't really add any benefit anyway. It probably destroys the core value when replacing them. The injectors I've seen wouldn't allow you to plug in backwards anyway, and if you did it really wouldn't hurt anything. I haven't bought anything from them yet, but that's where I'm going next time I need connectors. Bob W.
