While I have flown successfully with that combination for 10 years, I must admit that in hindsight, I think it was an unnecessary, heavy and expensive overkill. But, back 10+ years ago it seemed the way to go. Regular radiator bungs (rather than AN fittings) and good quality radiator hose is the way to go in my opinion. It will work fine, be lighter and a whole lot cheaper. I believe they make (might check EARLS) a regular AN16-hose fitting for regular radiator hose. If you find some of those then you won't need to use that expensive SS braided line.
