Thanks for the quick reply, guys!  I am planning to replace my oil cooler
and I hoped that my adapters would work..no joy!  The new cooler is M22X1.5

You beat me to it Ed.  Here's the data from Racing Beat.

However, The fittings on the Second Gen oil cooler uses 18 mm threads for
both fittings. 

I had a devil of a time finding those washers though.  I ended up re-using
the ones I had by heating them up red hot and letting them cool slowly.
