Any pics would be helpful.=20 Thanks Bobby=20 -----Original Message----- From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Ben Schneider Sent: Friday, July 24, 2009 8:27 PM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [BULK] [FlyRotary] Re: Renesis exhaust tubing size... Importance: Low Bobby, I believe it was 2" tubing .065" wall. I opted for thicker wall tubing to reduce chances of having it fail. In retrospect, I would likely set down on wall thickness size, since I Jet Hot coated it. All the tubing came from Burns stainless. I had to buy the bends in "U" bends, as 90's were not available in that thickness, and dimension. The tubing was bent to shape (to fit the square openings on the flange) with a vise, and a blunt piece of steel to help shape the corners. That part of the exhaust build went surprisingly fast. I think I only spent a couple of hours doing that. I will post some pictures of the exhaust tomorrow, I have to dig out the CD they are on, and transfer them to this computer, etc... Is there any particular part you want to see, or just the flange connections. Ben -- Homepage: http://www.flyrotary.com/ Archive and UnSub: http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/flyrotary/List.html
