I know this plane.  I have flown with the owner in his old 150 and have been 
out on engine  runs with him several months ago before he took it to the 
airport and got it fling again.  He took the whole plane to Dallas to have 
it expertly tuned by some race guys up there.

Bob is an expert aluminum welder and cut down my aluminum thermostat housing 
to allow it to fit under the cowl.  Took it with him after a hangar visit 
and to my surprise returned the next day with the perfect part.

He sent me an email earlier in the week asking me to come see his 
plane/engine and fly with him before he deploys.  I don't know if we can 
make it happen before he leaves but you can bet I will try.
