However, if you take the CC increase, the torque increase across the entire rpm range (as you indicated) and the lighter weight, there is no question in my mind that its going to be a significant improvement for aircraft. I calculated that it should put out close to 220 HP at a little over 6500 rpm. Perhaps more important, you can swing a larger (or additional blades) on a prop for more low airspeed performance given the additional torque from the engine. You are correct, thought, until we actually get one of the beast in our hands, its all speculation.
