Currently referred to as the 16X, the next rotary engine will offer substantially improved performance and economy through use of Direct Injection Spark Ignition and high-speed combustion technology, enfolded in new rotary dimensions. Early 2010's? I guess that might include 2011? That was another sources estimate. Well, if that happens, then my next rotary transplant will be the 16B - can't wait.
